Lisa is a partner in the Clayton Utz Corporate M&A team. She advises leading companies, together with boards, issuers, lead managers, underwriters and investors, on complex and strategically significant transactions, with a focus on public and private mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets and corporate restructuring.
In addition to transactional work, Lisa regularly advises on a broad range of corporate governance and regulatory matters, including directors' and officers' duties, ASX Listing Rule compliance and shareholder activism issues. She has extensive experience engaging with key regulators, including the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, ASX, the Takeovers Panel, the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority and the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.
Lisa's expertise is recognised by her peers, most recently as a "Corporate & Commercial Law Rising Star" in Doyle's Guide (Queensland, 2026 and 2025) and in Australasian Lawyer's list of Rising Stars.
Public M&A
National Storage on its acquisition by a consortium of Brookfield and GIC by way of scheme of arrangement and trust scheme, for an enterprise value of AUD$6.7 billion. The transaction represented the largest all-cash deal in the global self-storage sector and the largest all-cash REIT privatisation in Australia.
Queensland Teachers' Union Health Fund on its merger with Teachers Federation Health Ltd, marking the first merger of both corporate entities and registered private health insurers to be implemented via an amalgamation scheme of arrangement.
SEQ Hospitality Group on its successful $88.6 million acquisition of Eumundi Group Limited by way of dual off-market takeover bid and scheme of arrangement.
