Andrew heads the firm's Japan practice and Agribusiness practices nationally and is a senior partner in the firm's Corporate M&A Capital Markets practice with over 25 years' experience as a corporate adviser to leading Australian and overseas companies.

Andrew has a wide range of experience in corporate and securities law, including insolvency and financial services. His corporate and securities experience includes mergers and acquisitions (private and public), capital raisings, IPOs, corporate structuring and restructures, international and cross-border transactions, shareholder and joint venture agreements, corporate governance, ASX listing rule compliance, directors' duties and general corporate and commercial advice.

Andrew's financial services experience includes licensing and compliance, managed investment schemes, and venture capital arrangements.

Andrew maintains a strong interest in business with Japan, after spending a number of years of legal practice in Tokyo. His expertise is sought by Japanese companies for their inbound investment into Australia, and Australian companies investing into Japan.

Andrew is the current Chairman of the Adam Scott Foundation, which provides life opportunities for disadvantaged Australian children and youth and is a Board Member for Bravehearts a national Australian child protection organisation. Andrew is also a director of the Clayton Utz Board, the University of Queensland Rugby Football Club and the Australia-Japan Society (Queensland) Inc., being its Past President.
