Clayton Utz is pleased to be advising Blackstone on its acquisition of Hamilton Island, one of Australia's most iconic luxury holiday destinations. This represents a significant investment by Blackstone in Australia's tourism and leisure sector.
Hamilton Island is located in the heart of the Great Barrier Reef and features world class resorts, residential accommodation, a marina, a golf course and its own commercial airport. It has been owned by the Oatley family since 2003.
