Media Release: The Clayton Utz Art Partnership debuts first 2019 Sydney exhibition

12 Apr 2019

Sydney, 12 April 2019:  On 10 April the Clayton Utz Art Partnership launched its fourth Sydney exhibition, featuring contemporary Australian artists Neil Frazer and Telly Tu’u.

Around 200 guests attended an exclusive cocktail reception on the level 15 deck at Clayton Utz's 1 Bligh Street office, where the 48 artworks are exhibited over two floors.

The Australian broadcaster and accomplished landscape photographer, Richard Morecroft, led a Q&A with the artists in which they discussed what inspires their work and how they approach the creative process.

Earlier Sydney exhibitions have featured the work of artists Euan Macleod and Vanessa Stockard, Jason Benjamin and Nick Collerson, and Clara Adolphs and Wendy Sharpe. A current Melbourne exhibition features Heidi Yardley and Rhys Lee, which follows the successful first six month exhibition which involved Jon Cattapan and Dane Lovett.

The Clayton Utz Art Partnership is an innovative and industry-first collaboration between Clayton Utz and established and emerging artists, featuring new artists and their works every six months. In bringing the creative and legal industries together, the partnership highlights Clayton Utz's commitment to Australian visual art (a uniquely independent Australian form supporting the Australian art community) and the qualities that lawyers and artists share, particularly around creativity and excellence.

In launching the exhibition, Bruce Cooper, Deputy Chief Executive Partner of Clayton Utz commented: "The success of this, the fourth Sydney program in our Art Partnership, reinforced the innovative approach we takes to our interactions with clients: from connecting visual arts and business communities, to developing smart commercial solutions for clients, to creating positive workplace environments for our people."

The Clayton Utz Art Partnership is managed and curated by 3:33 Art Projects.
