Media Release: The Clayton Utz Art Partnership launches first exhibition for 2019

06 Mar 2019

Sydney, 6 March 2019: The Clayton Utz Art Partnership has hosted the launch of its first exhibition for 2019, showcasing the work of 2013 Archibald finalist Heidi Yardley and internationally acclaimed contemporary artist, Rhys Lee.

Over 100 Clayton Utz people and guests attended the launch function at Clayton Utz's 333 Collins Street offices in Melbourne last month, where they had the opportunity to view the 79 artworks which comprise the exhibition.

Guests also had the opportunity to meet and hear from Heidi and Rhys about their individual styles and creative approach, in a Q&A session led by iconic Australian broadcaster and accomplished landscape photographer, Richard Morecroft.

Clayton Utz Deputy Chief Executive Partner, Bruce Cooper said he was delighted to welcome Heidi and Rhys to The Clayton Utz Art Partnership.

"We take great pride in the Clayton Utz Art Partnership, which is special to us on many levels. It gives us an opportunity to engage with the Australian visual arts community and to bring the work of both established and emerging artists to audiences in a setting different to the ordinary. It gives our people and our clients a unique perspective on Australian art which will hang in our office for six months, and the chance to connect in ways that are outside the expectations our clients may have of a law firm. We look forward to the launch of our next exhibition in Sydney in April."

The Clayton Utz Art Partnership was established in 2017 as a unique collaboration between the firm and Australian artists.
