Notable Work

New Acland Coal Pty Ltd: advised on Stage 3 expansion, including objections hearings in the Land Court, successful Supreme Court judicial review and Court of Appeal, instructed senior counsel for High Court proceedings
Triple Flag Precious Metals: advised it and its subsidiary, Maverix Metals (Australia) Pty Ltd, on protection and enforcement of gold royalty rights, including registration of dealings and caveats and negotiating commingling arrangements
JARE: regularly advises on its investment in Lynas Rare Earths Limited, which included offtake arrangements for critical minerals.
New Acland Coal Pty Ltd: advises on its water licensing, including representing it in Land Court appeals pertaining to the grant and conditions of its associated water licence

Natural gas producer: assisted one of Australia's largest producers and exporters in due diligence assessment for their A$231 million acquisition of the "Ironbark" natural gas project from Origin Energy Ltd.
Maverix Metals Inc: advised on its due diligence assessment and acquisition of Australian royalty rights as part of an acquisition of multinational acquisition of royalty portfolio from Gold Fields Netherlands Services B.V
ITOCHU Corporation: advised its Australian subsidiary, ITOCHU Minerals and Energy of Australia Pty Ltd, on its acquisition of a 30% interest in Fitzroy
