Sydney, 9 February 2018: Clayton Utz has been named Australian Law Firm of the Year at the 2018 Chambers Asia-Pacific Awards held in Hong Kong last Thursday.

The Chambers Asia-Pacific Awards celebrate the outstanding work and achievements of law firms in the region. Award winners are determined based on the significant market research undertaken for the Chambers Asia-Pacific legal directory.

Clayton Utz Deputy Chief Executive Partner Bruce Cooper said the firm was delighted with the prestigious accolade.

"The Chambers Asia-Pacific Awards are based on rigorous research on the region, taking into account the breadth and depth of the experience of the key players in local markets, as well as client views," said Bruce.  "Winning in this context speaks volumes about the calibre of our people, the quality outcomes they deliver for clients, and the opinions our clients have about our service: a real reflection of our standing as a leading Australian firm."
