  • Macquarie Capital: advised on its participation in the Asian Renewable Energy Hub to be developed in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
  • ConocoPhillips: advised on the sale of its northern Australian and Timor-Leste business to Santos Limited for US$1.265 billion plus a contingent payment of US$200 million subject to FID on Barossa.
  • Consortium: advised sellers led by Brookfield and Macquarie on the US$2.5 billion sale of Quadrant Energy to Santos Limited.
  • Senex Energy: acted on its gas sales agreements with AGL, EnergyAustralia, BlueScope Steel, ENGIE, Orora and Visy to underpin its proposed $1billion Atlas Gas Project.
  • Australia Pacific LNG Pty Ltd: Project Counsel on its A$24 billion CSG to LNG project.
  • Repsol: advised on the sale of its Papua New Guinea assets and operations to Arran Energy.
  • Beach Energy: advised on the structuring and sale of a 40% interest in its iconic Otway petroleum assets in offshore Victoria to OG Energy for $344 million, and on its consequential joint venture and tie-in arrangements.
  • Squadron Energy: advising on the development of the Australian Industrial Energy Regasification Terminal at Port Kembla.
  • Australian Government: advising on the disconnection and rehabilitation of the Northern Endeavour FPSO in Northern Australia, which was abandoned after Northern Endeavour went into bankruptcy.
  • Financiers: advising on a significant petroleum project offshore Northern Territory that will produce feedstock gas for LNG, which involves ESG issues and significant due diligence that extends to the LNG processing and tolling arrangements.
