Overview

As a core member of the private equity team, Johan works closely with Niro Ananda. Johan specialises in large-scale matters where he advises clients in the private equity industry and their portfolio companies across various types of M&A transactions. His standing as a private equity practitioner is reflected by his nomination as a finalist for the 2018 Lawyer's Weekly 30 under 30 which showcases excellence among the young lawyers through professional performance, leadership capabilities and ability to influence the client experience.

Emergent Cold: advised Emergent Cold (and its financial sponsor, Elliott Management) on its acquisition of the Swire Cold Storage business.
Pacific Equity Partners: advised on its acquisition of ASX-listed Citadel Group Limited.
Pacific Equity Partners: advised on its acquisition of Evolution Healthcare and its acquisition of the Healthe Care Surgical Hospitals business.
Roc Partners: advised on its acquisition of a majority interest in Stone Axe Pastoral Pty Ltd as well as further bolt on acquisitions and its acquisition of an interest in the Made by Cow business.
