Aimed at protecting the nation’s critical infrastructure from cyber risks, the Security of Critical Infrastructure Act 2018 (Cth) (SOCI Act) applies to a wide range of assets across 11 industries.
That means if you operate, own or have an interest of 10% or more in an asset within one of the target industries (or have an interest that puts you in a position to directly or indirectly influence or control the asset), the SOCI Act may apply to you.
