Substantial experience in infrastructure development and redevelopment projects, with particular expertise in procurement, property, environment, commercial and performance-related legal issues arising throughout the different stages of a project's lifecycle.
Notable Work
- Health Care Fiji: advising in connection with its redevelopment of Lautoka and Ba Hospitals under its public private partnership with the Government of Fiji.
- Department of Defence: advising on several of its infrastructure projects and service contracts, including in connection with the expansion of Defence's Headquarters Joint Operations Command facility.
- Celestino: advising in connection with service contracts for Celestino's Sydney Science Park development at Orchard Hills in Western Sydney.
- Baiada: advising in connection with the procurement of works in connection with its processing facilities at Beresfield and Oakburn, NSW.
- Transport for NSW: advised in connection with all aspects of Stages 1, 2 and 3A of the $16.8bn WestConnex Motorway project.
- Transport for NSW: advised on the complex interface issues between RMS and various third parties arising in connection with the $2.6bn Sydney Gateway Project.
Transport for NSW: advised on all aspects of Transurban's unsolicited proposal for the $3bn NorthConnex Motorway. - Infrastructure New South Wales and Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority: advised on all aspects of the procurement of the redeveloped and new convention, exhibition and entertainment facilities within the Sydney International Convention, Exhibition and Entertainment Precinct Project at Darling Harbour.
- Roads and Maritime Services: advised in connection with the $550m upgrade of the M2 Motorway.
- NSW Health: advised on all aspects of the public tender for the $950m hospital redevelopment, the biggest health PPP project ever carried out in NSW.
