  • AMP Financial Planning: acted and advised in connection with enforcement proceedings commenced by ASIC in the Federal Court arising from insurance re-writing by some of its advisers as well as resulting remediation to compensate affected clients.

  • Brickworks Limited: represented Brickworks Limited in Federal Court proceedings against BGC Australia in a case regarding allegations of predatory pricing practices and misuse of market power.

  • AMP Life Limited, National Mutual Life Australia and two AMP service companies: represented four AMP entities in a Federal Court class action brought by superannuation funds members for alleged overcharging of fees. 

  • Walker Corporation: acted on a variety of complex property related disputes and responses to FOI requests arising from its construction and property development activities throughout NSW, Victoria and South Australia.

  • Private Individuals: acted as an independent legal adviser for individuals called for s19 examinations by ASIC.

  • Hunter Water Corporation: prepared an application to the Supreme Court of NSW in relation to the beneficial interest of a property held on trust by the Corporation.

  • Goodman Property Services: acted for the landlord in relation to a contested relief from forfeiture claim in the Supreme Court of NSW; subsequent negotiations and termination of the commercial leases.

  • AMP Group Entities: advised AMP on a professional indemnity claim arising from its customer remediation program, with proceedings in the Supreme Court of NSW raising novel issues around alternative dispute resolution.
