  • ANZ Banking Group: advises on various matters including captive insurance and reinsurance related matters, disputed claims, policy wording analysis and negotiation, and regulatory issues.
  • Orica: acted for Orica in Orica Australia Pty Ltd v Limit (No. 2) Ltd [2011] VSC 65, a coverage dispute arising from a claim under a Charterers Liability Insurance Policy.
  • Major road projects in Victoria: advising in relation to insurance and risk issues arising on major road projects in Victoria. Lucy is advising currently on the delivery of every major road project in Victoria, focusing on insurance strategy and allocation of risk under the legal contract regime.
  • Toyota: advised on cyber insurance policy coverage following the identification of malware in its computer system and infrastructure.
  • Major Road Projects Victoria: advising on the implementation of a bespoke, principal-procured professional indemnity insurance program, a first of its kind professional indemnity solution for infrastructure projects.
  • AIA Australia Limited: advised in relation to the regulatory ramifications in Australia of an initial public offering and listing of AIA Australia Limited's parent entity in Hong Kong.
  • Melbourne Health: advised on insurance recovery under a cyber policy following the identification of malicious software in the form of the Qbot computer virus in the client's computer system.
  • Orica: advised on various matters including captive insurance and reinsurance related matters, disputed claims, policy wording analysis and negotiation, and regulatory issues.
  • Film production company: advising in relation to insurance entitlements and liability arising from a flood event in northern NSW.
  • ING Australia: advised in relation to an insurance claim for indemnity under a professional indemnity policy, for liability in negligence on the part of a superannuation fund administrator.
  • US car insurer: Advised on entry in to the Australian market including application for an Australian Financial Services Licence and later, advised on the insurance portfolio transfer when the same insurer existed the Australian market.
