Overview

Lizzie has over 15 years' experience advising State and Commonwealth Governments on all aspects of the procurement and delivery of complex, large-scale infrastructure projects. She has special expertise in the social infrastructure space, including social and affordable housing and health services. Lizzie's practice also includes advising on energy projects and Commonwealth procurement.

Notable Work

Victorian Government: advising on its flagship Social Housing Growth Fund Program to deliver new social housing and affordable housing in Victoria.
Victorian Government: advising on the Youth Housing Capital Program to deliver new homes for young people across Victoria to address youth homelessness.
Victorian Health Building Authority: advised on the Community Hospitals Program to build 10 community hospitals close to major growth areas across Victoria.
Victorian Health Building Authority: advised on the Pathways to 144 Mental Health Beds to deliver new mental health units at four existing hospital sites.
Department of Premier and Cabinet: advised on contract administration phase of the 1,000 bed COVID quarantine facility.
Department of Defence: advised on the procurement and delivery of myriad projects, including the Larrakeyah Barracks Defence Precinct Redevelopment, HMAS Stirling and Campbell Barracks Redevelopment Projects.
Department of Defence: advised on the development and maintenance of its infrastructure division suite of contracts for a wide range of delivery models, including managing contractor, head contract, medium works and remediation contracts.
Commonwealth Department of Finance: advised on the Treasury Base Building Refurbishment Project.
Department of Transport and Planning: advised on its review of the Franchise Agreements with the metropolitan train and tram operators.
EnergyAustralia: advised on various issues arising in connection with the delivery of the Tallawara B OCGT power station, with hydrogen capability.
