Hear from Arash Asgari

"Over the past few weeks, I've had the privilege of participating in the three-part CU Up Close program at Clayton Utz. This program greatly broadened my understanding of commercial practice, especially in a top-tier firm, and was overall an invaluable experience. I particularly enjoyed gaining insight into various practice groups, networking with recent graduates, improving my legal research skills, and having questions answered by partners.

A personal highlight was delving into the clerkship process at Clayton Utz and learning various tips and tricks to consider when writing a CV. Collaborating with my fellow attendees to solve a simulated real-life problem was also quite memorable - it opened my eyes to the practical skills a young lawyer needs during practice that may not be nurtured in law school.

I would like to give a special thanks to Brittney Nielsen and the Clayton Utz team for their amazing work in making this program possible. I highly recommend that any law student interested in commercial law or a career at Clayton Utz apply next year!"
