Stephen Boyle practises in all areas of construction law. He specialises in front-end engineering and construction work, with a particular emphasis on major infrastructure, mining and processing projects.
He acts for owners, financiers and contractors in drafting, negotiating and settling contract and project structuring and documentation.
Stephen has also acted in court proceedings and international arbitrations for clients in disputes in relation to contract mining, construction of nickel processing plants, oil and gas facilities and major commercial building and infrastructure projects.
Stephen is a Director of Fleetwood Corporation.

Construction and Major Projects
Iluka Resources: Stephen acts for Iluka in a range of matters including the structuring of contract matrices for major projects in Western Australia, Victoria and South Australia totalling over $1 billion.
Minara Resources: Stephen and other members of the Major Projects Group act for Minara Resources on all of its construction and project development matters, including drafting a suite of standard form, specific construction, engineering specialist services and supply contracts for the Murrin Murrin operations, including the current expansion project.
St John of God Hospital: Acting for the hospital in its A$180 million expansion of two hospitals in Perth.
Woodside Building Perth: Acting for the contractor on the A$260 million Woodside Building including development and administration of continuous contemporaneous dispute resolution procedure.
Alcoa: Acted in negotiating and drafting the EPCM contract for the A$2 billion expansion of the Wagerup Refinery.
Fortescue Metals Group: Drafted and negotiated the majority of the project contracts for Fortescue's A$3 billion iron ore mine in the Pilbara.
