Mining, petroleum and electricity regulation: Jasmin has significant experience in dealing with mining, petroleum and electricity regulation and regularly advises mining and petroleum companies and energy utilities on regulatory issues that impact on their business.

New Acland Coal Mine Stage 3 Project: Jasmin is one of the leading members of the team advising New Hope on the expansion of the New Acland Mine, which has involved the largest mining lease objection proceedings in Australian mining history. Jasmin's role includes providing key strategic advice in relation to approvals pathways for the timely delivery of the project.

Wesfarmers ‒ Curragh Coal Project: Jasmin is one of the leading members of the team advising Wesfarmers in relation to all aspects of the development and expansion of the Curragh coal mine, including advising on the successful acquisition of additional tenements.

U&D Mining: Jasmin advises U&D on a range of project development matters in respect of its projects, including the Meter Downs South mining lease application, and running the successful Land Court objections proceedings against Glencore.

Origin ‒ NSW Electricity Industry Privatisation: Jasmin acted in the team that delivered the successful $3.5 billion NSW Electricity Industry Privatisation, including taking a key role in the aspects of the transaction associated with power purchase and other commodity supply arrangements.

Oil & gas

Vale: Jasmin has advised Vale on mining regulatory issues, access issues, coal tolling arrangements and overlapping and adjacent petroleum tenure issues.

Australia Pacific LNG Project: Jasmin acted in the development of this CSG to LNG project (the largest project of this type in the world) which involved gas field development, construction of a pipeline (over 500km long) from the gas fields to Curtis Island and construction of a LNG plant on Curtis island, and construction of ancillary onshore and marine facilities. Jasmin was a key strategic adviser on petroleum regulatory and land access, overlapping tenure, and adjacent gas tenures and cross-border infrastructure. 

Queensland energy suppliers: Jasmin has negotiated and drafted numerous commodity sale agreements and gas transportation agreements for Queensland energy suppliers.
