The Clayton Utz International Arbitration Lecture
Doug Jones, Head of International Arbitration Group
The 9th Clayton Utz / Sydney University International Arbitration Lecture will be held in 2010 on the 16th of November.
This lecture, which is hosted by Clayton Utz and supported by Sydney University, is intended to promote the development and study of international arbitration within Australia and within the Asia-Pacific Region.
Inaugurated by Lord Mustill, speakers have come from eminent practitioners from both the civil and common law world including Gabrielle Kaufmann-Kohler, Rusty Parke, Jean Claude Najar and most recently Toby Landau.
We are privileged this year to have as our lecturer eminent arbitrator and mediator from our region Sally Harpole who, with her particular expertise in relation to Chinese arbitration, is going to have a look at the impact of Chinese arbitration and Chinese language arbitration on the culture of international arbitration in our region.
I do hope that you will be able to join us for the lecture this year.
