Clayton Utz named Firm of the Year at 2016 IFLR Asia Awards

Sydney, 4 March 2016: Clayton Utz was last night named National Firm of the Year for Australia at the 2016 IFLR Asia Awards held in Hong Kong. The awards celebrate the region's most innovative firms and deals.

Clayton Utz Chief Executive Partner Rob Cutler said he was proud to accept the award on the firm's behalf.

"We've made our clients and people the focus of our business," said Rob. "That's reflected in our investment in initiatives such as our client experience and relationship programs, our new national Stay True graduate program, leadership excellence and legal project management training for our lawyers, our diversity and inclusion strategy, and our Pro Bono practice.

"It's rewarding and a credit to both our people and our clients that we're being recognised as Australia's leading firm."

This is the fourth major award for the firm in the past 12 months. Clayton Utz was named Australian Large Law Firm of the Year at the 2015 Australasian Law Awards, Law Firm of the Year (more than 50 partners) at the 2015 Law Institute of Victoria Awards, and more recently, 2016 Firm of the Year in Australia by Who's Who Legal.
