The South Australian Parliament has passed the Return to Work Bill 2014.
The Bill replaces the Workers Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 1986, and is expected to commence on 1 July 2015.
Meanwhile, the South Australian Government has revoked its Approved Code of Practice for Working Hours.
Employers should consult Safe Work Australia's Guide for managing the risk of fatigue at work and the Workers' guide to fatigue management for guidance on managing the work health and safety risks associated with fatigue at work.
