Clayton Utz partner joins Women in Banking & Finance leadership team

Sydney, 19 December 2011: Clayton Utz Sydney Banking partner Louise McCoach has been elected to the Women in Banking & Finance (WiBF) Executive Committee, effective 2012.

WiBF is a non-profit association that aims to provide women with opportunities to develop their careers in the banking and finance industry through professional development and relationship opportunities.

The role of the Executive Committee is to manage WiBF affairs in accordance with its Constitution and the legislative framework governing associations. It is also responsible for the creation and implementation of the strategy and business plan of WiBF. As a member of the WiBF Executive, Louise will chair the Mentoring and Education Subcommittee.

"I look forward to making a strong contribution to the development of WiBF through ensuring the delivery of leading-edge mentoring and education programs that support women in pursuing successful careers in the industry," said McCoach.

Louise joins a distinguished group of women on the Executive Committee who work for major Australian trading banks, investment banks, fund managers, and other financial services institutions.
