What was your first job and what did it teach you? Articled Clerk in a small legal firm in Brisbane

Never underestimate the importance of every role in the organisation, from the mailroom through to the managing partner.

What’s your favourite part of your job? Working with internal clients to secure strategic outcomes in litigation and alternative/early dispute resolution matters.

What keeps you awake at night? The potential liability exposures faced by both directors and officers of companies and mitigating those liabilities.

When my work/life balance isn’t balanced, I … Rely heavily on my fabulous husband and family, take a deep breath and try and work towards balance.

What's the best place you have seen as a tourist and why? Japan – the place is so ordered and the people just so friendly and hospitable.

If I hadn't become a lawyer, I’d be … I'd love to be mayor of a small local council.

If you had to put your philosophy of life onto a t-shirt, what would it say? Enjoy even the small things in life as everything is important.
