Clayton Utz Hong Kong office appoints front-end Construction specialist

Hong Kong, 1 April 2011: Clayton Utz in association with Haley & Co. has bolstered its front-end construction and major projects capabilities in the region with the appointment of Construction and Major Projects consultant Ilan Freiman.

Mr Freiman was previously Director of Legal - Asian Construction at Sands China Limited/ Venetian Macau Limited where he managed the legal requirements for all aspects of the company's development projects in Asia, including the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore and The Venetian Macao-Resort-Hotel in Macau. His extensive experience advising on commercial aspects of major infrastructure and real estate development projects around Asia, covering the project development life-cycle, will be a significant asset to the firm.

Mr Freiman commenced with the firm on 1 April, 2011.

The appointment of Mr Freiman coincides with the first anniversary of Clayton Utz in association with Haley Co., and reflects the continuing growth of the Hong Kong office which specialises in Construction and Major Projects, Dispute Resolution and International Arbitration - areas in which Clayton Utz dominates the market.
