Clayton Utz scores a Try for Humpty Dumpty Foundation

Sydney, 9 September 2010: Clayton Utz is pleased to have helped raise over $11,500 for the Humpty Dumpty Foundation at the Clayton Utz Bledisloe Cup Lunch 2010.

The annual lunch was hosted in Clayton Utz's Sydney office and drew around 100 guests whose generous donations will help fund the purchase of vital medical equipment for children's hospitals in Australia and East Timor.

Former Australian Wallabies Phil Kearns and Alastair Baxter were both guests speakers at the lunch and provided guests with an intimate and candid insight into their experiences representing their country as elite sportsmen. Mr Kearns also spoke of the important work undertaken by the Humpty Dumpty Foundation.

Clayton Utz's Sydney Managing Partner Julie Levis said she was overwhelmed by the generosity of those who attended the lunch. "It was a remarkable effort by our guests to raise $6500 for this very worthy cause. In response to their generous donations, the Clayton Utz Foundation has donated a further $5000 to support the Humpty Dumpty Foundation in carrying out its important work."

The Humpty Dumpty Foundation was founded in 1996 by Paul Francis to buy much needed medical equipment and support children’s services at Royal North Shore Hospital. It now supports over 80 children's hospital and health services across Australia as well as two children’s hospitals in East Timor.
