Clayton Utz advises on CSG's institutional placement

Melbourne, 2 February 2010: Clayton Utz has advised Macquarie Capital Advisers as underwriter of CSG Limited's fully underwritten A$65 million institutional placement, which completed in January.

Undertaken in two tranches, the Offer was very well-received with strong demand from both existing and new institutional investors.

Proceeds from the Offer will be used to fund the acquisition of a 90% interest in Konica Minolta Business Solutions New Zealand Limited, New Zealand’s market leading print services business.

Clayton Utz' lead partner on the transaction, Melbourne Corporate partner Brendan Groves, said: "Clayton Utz is pleased to have assisted our client Macquarie Capital Advisers as manager and underwriter on this very successful raising. This transaction is the latest in a long line of strategic equity raisings, large and small, that we have helped our clients bring to market – acting for both issuers and lead managers.

"In the year ahead, we anticipate more raisings to fund strategic acquisitions of this type."
