Sydney, 18 June 2009: Clayton Utz Competition partner and Board Chair Linda Evans has been named one of the world's leading women in antitrust (competition) law for 2009 by the publication Global Competition Review.

Linda is one of only two Australian women named in the list and one of 100 women named globally.

The list includes antitrust practitioners from a range of areas and at different stages of their careers and includes partners, associates, economists, enforcers and consultants from all over the world.

Commenting on Linda's achievement the national head of Clayton Utz' Corporate practice, Michael Reede, said: "This is significant recognition for Linda and is testament to both her experience and reputation for providing clients with outstanding competition law advice, particularly in relation to complex matters."

Linda is also a member of the American Bar Association's International Cartel Task Force and the Law Council of Australia.
