Seminar series with Parsons Brinkerhoff

The seminar series will be aimed at:

• raising the awareness of approaches to assessing climate change risks and adaptation techniques in relation to major infrastructure, using case studies and experience from key infrastructure owners within NSW;
• providing an understanding of how climate change is affecting the investment risk profile of particular types of infrastructure, and how key funding decisions are being made by our major financial institutions; and
• providing an overview of the impacts of climate change on the global insurance markets for major infrastructure projects and the strategies adopted by insurers and reinsurers to mitigate these impacts.
