The Queensland Information Technology Contracting (QITC) framework is widely used by Queensland government organisations for purchasing ICT products and services. This one-day workshop will explain how to draft contracts using the QITC framework. It will include a guided hands-on opportunity to complete a QITC contract, as well as an explanation of the key issues and tips for addressing them in the contract.
Who should attend our QTIC Contracts Workshop
Anyone involved in drafting QITC contracts for government, including procurement officers, IT professionals and legal advisors. No prior knowledge of QITC or legal experience is required.
What you'll learn
At the end of the workshop you’ll know:
- What the QITC Framework is and how to select the right contract based on contract value and risks
- How to plan your contract using a commercial principles approach
- How to select the right Modules and Schedules for a QITC contract
- How the QITC template contracts work and how to complete them
- Key QITC concepts and how to deal with them in contracts.
