We have implemented environmental initiatives that assist us to understand our impacts and incorporate sustainability into our decision-making. We are proud to be a founding member of the Australian Legal Sector Alliance (AusLSA), an industry-led association working collaboratively to promote sustainable practices across the legal sector.

Our environmental policy includes understanding our impacts, measuring these and developing systems and processes to minimise these impacts as much as possible. The Firm has adopted initiatives aimed at reducing the environmental impact of our operations and raising awareness of sustainability issues. You can download a full copy of our environment policy here. (PDF 348.5KB)

We have implemented the certified AusLSA Environmental Management System (AEMS). This allows us to understand and manage our environmental risks, and make plans to minimise our impacts.

We have reduced our electricity consumption nationally each year for the last three years and we have recently implemented a centralised bin system in our most populous office, which will significantly reduce the amount of non-biodegradable plastic bin liners that we sent to landfill.
