Our aim is to minimise our use of resources, maximise re-use and recycle where possible.
We have implemented environmental initiatives that assist us to
understand our impacts and incorporate sustainability into our
decision-making. We are proud to be a founding member of the Australian
Legal Sector Alliance (

sustainable practices across the legal sector. You can access our latest AusLSA report at this link.
Our environmental policy includes understanding our impacts, measuring
these and developing systems and processes to minimise these impacts as
much as possible. The Firm has adopted initiatives aimed at reducing
the environmental impact of our operations and raising awareness of
sustainability issues. You

We have implemented the AusLSA Environmental Management System (AEMS) which has been independently certified by EY. This allows us to understand and manage our environmental risks, and make plans to minimise our impacts. Some areas of focus have included reducing our electricity consumption nationally each year for the last four years and cutting our waste to landfill by more than 30%. We have also upgraded our printing fleet nationally to a more waste efficient system and encourage our people view, sign and share documents electronically to reduce paper use.
