Notable Work
  • ASX listed company, regulatory response management: manages collection and analysis of documents and data sets for regulatory investigations and litigation.  Owen supports his client’s in-house legal team, Clayton Utz lawyers and other external law firms engaged by our client. Deployed FTS’s REMI application, to track all eDiscovery and regulatory matters, and integrate machine learning technology into review processes. Developed centralised document repositories to ensure consistent privilege review and efficient response to regulators and in litigation. 
  • CBA - Royal Commission into Financial Services: led the FTS team, who worked closely with the Clayton Utz legal team, to support the response to the Financial Services Royal Commission. Led the analysis of data sets from a number of different systems, as well as the analysis of millions of documents. Implemented data analytics techniques to assist with collection and analysis of data.
  • Consumer remediation program: collection, management and analysis of data from call recording systems, customer relationship systems and email communications to support a remediation program. 
  • Aged Care Royal Commission: provided the full-suite of forensic and technology services to the Department of Health and the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission supporting their response to the Royal Commission.
  • ACCC Mortgage Price Inquiry: managed the identification, analysis and review of millions of documents in response to rolling ACCC notices to produce.  Deployed Machine Learning technology to prioritise material for legal review.
  • Federal Government Department: delivered machine learning technology to manage the identification and review of material from a pool of 15 million documents to support a response to supplier dispute. 
  • Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse: led the design and implementation of the Royal Commission's custom case management application. Implemented a data analytics platform to facilitate analysis of information received by the Commission.
