James Minchinton specialises in energy and resources law, including the sale and acquisition of resources, mining and petroleum projects. His expertise also includes project development, mining and petroleum law, overlapping tenures, sales and transportation agreements and related areas such as native title and cultural heritage, environment and safety.
James advises on both regulatory approvals and resource project operations. He has prepared an array of documentation for energy and resources projects including sale and purchase agreements and due diligence reports. James has undertaken a number of secondments with major mining and petroleum companies and previously worked as a statistician and process engineer.
