PLC Which Lawyer? 2008
In the latest edition of the PLC Which Lawyer? legal directory, our Clayton Utz Major Projects and Construction practice was ranked as the sole Leading Firm in Construction in Australia. We are delighted to have maintained the position as Australia’s only top tier Construction firm in 2008.
Our Project Finance team achieved a Highly Recommended ranking. Michael Tuckfield attained a Highly Recommended ranking in this area, and John Shirbin and Clive Craven were singled out as Recommended project finance lawyers.
Chambers Global 2008
In Chambers Global 2008 legal directory, the Clayton Utz Construction team was granted the prestigious first band ranking. Our Projects and Dispute Resolution teams were also highly regarded, each team being awarded a second band ranking.
Notably, Doug Jones was honoured as a first band ‘Star Performer’ in the individual rankings for Construction, and also received a first band ranking for Projects. Arch Fletcher and Marko Misko were also recognised and were both awarded individual second band rankings for Construction. This recognition was extended to Brad Vann, Clive Craven, Grant Fuzi and John Shirbin from the Projects team, who received a third band ranking.

In the inaugural edition of Best Lawyers®: Australia, the Clayton Utz Construction team received a number one ranking. The team had more listed lawyers in ‘Best lawyers in the field of Construction’ than any other firm in Australia. Recognised partners were Doug Jones, Frank Bannon, Sergio Capelli, Marko Misko, Andrew Stephenson, Stephen O’Reilly, Dale Brackin, and Arch Fletcher.
