Doug Jones joins London chambers

Key Points:

Professor Doug Jones AM

Recognised as one of Australia's pre-eminent construction and public private partnership lawyers, Professor Doug Jones AM from Clayton Utz is one of a number of Australian lawyers who have been driving Sydney's claim as an influential southern hemisphere seat for International Arbitration. As well as serving as Senior Vice President of ACICA

(The Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration), and on a number of other international arbitral bodies, Doug Jones had the honour earlier this year of being accepted as an Arbitrator Door Tenant at London's Atkin Chambers.

Earlier in the year Atkins became the first London barristers' chambers to be awarded the prestigious Queen's Award for Enterprise. In late September the chambers was awarded the UK Construction Set of Chambers of the Year 2005, by Chambers and Partners at the UK Bar Awards.
