As an experienced construction lawyer, Steve advises clients in a wide range of projects involving civil, mechanical and process engineering issues. He also has experience in insurance disputes. Steve has a strong reputation with clients for his practical and commercial approach to resolving disputes. Steve also has a science degree and has completed his Masters of Construction and Insurance Law.

Steve has acted for Government, owners, contractors, manufacturers, insurers and brokers in all forms of dispute resolution, both domestically and internationally. As a consequence, he has a substantial practical and legal understanding of the legal and commercial drivers of each party involved in a range of project delivery situations. His experience has involved disputes throughout Australia, South East Asia, the Pacific and the United Kingdom.

Steve is married with two children. Starved of rugby, other than the recent World Cup since his move from Sydney to Melbourne in 1994, Steve is encouraging anybody he can to support the introduction of a Victorian team into the Super 14. He also enjoys the torture of golf when family and client commitments allow.
