Key Points:
Name? Jessie Moodley
Current position and organisation? Senior Legal Counsel, AMP Capital Investors Ltd
What was your first job and what did it teach you? Articled Clerk with a law firm in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa. Being a lawyer and a human rights activist in an apartheid society was a powerful combination.

What keeps you awake at night? Do you mean apart from my husband's snoring? …deadlines!
When my work/life balance isn't balanced, I … keep moving. To keep your balance, you have to keep moving.
What's the best place you have seen as a tourist and why? Would love to travel more, but right now I'd have to say the South Island of New Zealand…the magic of mountains meeting the lakes is second to none, that I've seen anyway!
If I hadn't become a lawyer, I'd be a … Actress or perhaps a politician…the skill sets are the same, aren't they?
My next big challenge is Learning to be more tolerant with my children.…or perhaps trying to stop my husband's snoring!
If you had to put your philosophy of life onto a t-shirt, what would it say? "If you do something, do it properly or don't do it at all!"
