Profile - Caroline Bush

Key Points:

Caroline Bush in our Canberra Government Services team will be a partner from 1 January 2008. Caroline has extensive expertise in administrative law and litigation. She also has a particular interest in information law issues, including FOI and Privacy issues.

Caroline has acted for a various government clients in litigious proceedings including commercial and administrative law disputes. Her litigation experience extends to the defence of administrative decisions in a variety of contexts including in merits review forums and in judicial review proceedings before the Federal Court.

Caroline also has considerable experience in public law advice work for numerous government clients. Her experience includes standard statutory interpretation and advice in relation to policy development and implementation (including consultation and communication with industry), and assistance in developing regulatory and legislative regimes.
