Joe Catanzariti

 

 

Joe Catanzariti leads our national practice group on Workplace Relations and Employment Law and is considered one of Australia's foremost experts in the field.

 

 

Joe has extensive experience advising Federal, State and Territory Government agencies, as well as major corporates, on a wide range of issues including developing industrial relations and employment strategies, industrial disputes, conciliation and arbitration before State and Federal Courts, occupational health and safety, employee fraud, discrimination, corporate governance and senior executive remuneration and termin-ations. His depth of experience advising both State and Federal public sector clients on a wide range of employment and industrial issues has afforded him unique insights into the design and development of long-term employment relations and risk management strategies.

 

 

Joe is Secretary/Treasurer of the Industrial Relations Society of Australia and Chair of the Workplace Committee of the Law Society of New South Wales.

 

 
Gary Best

 

 

Gary Best has recently joined Clayton Utz' Sydney Office and complements our government team.

 

 

Gary specialises in major projects, real estate developments of all types and government tendering.  He acts for numerous NSW public sector bodies and agencies including Department of Planning, Department of Commerce, Department of Housing, Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority, Landcom, Department of Environment and Conservation, Sydney Olympic Park Authority and Sydney Water Corporation.

Helen Sheridan

 

 

Helen Sheridan has recently joined Clayton Utz as a senior associate in our Property, Planning and Environment team in the Canberra office. 

 

Helen has significant experience in commercial leasing (particularly advising Government clients), but has also acted in a wide variety of matters, including property due diligence work, commercial and residential sales, telecommunications leases and licensing matters, advice work in relation to the ACT system of land ownership, planning and environmental issues, agreement for lease transactions as well as government tendering processes. 

 

 

Helen has acted and acts for numerous Government and private sector clients including the Department of Health and Ageing, the Department of Transport and Regional Services, the Department of Finance and Administration and AusAID.
