| Wendy Dawes Wendy Dawes is a commercial lawyer with over 20 years of experience, principally in the commercial property, business, and banking and finance areas. She is a member of the Property group in Canberra. |
| Amy Deeb Amy practises in the Government Services group specialising in corporate law. Amy has experience in capital raisings, floats, corporate structuring and restructures, business acquisitions and divestments, venture capital arrangements, capital reconstructions, schemes of arrangement, share issues, due diligence, director's duties, corporate governance and the provision of general corporate advice on a wide range of matters. |
| Alastair Gregory Alastair Gregory is a member of the Real Estate team. He acts for statutory authorities, corporate landowners, property developers and the managers of listed property trusts on all aspects of the acquisition, development and disposal of industrial, commercial, retail, rural and residential property. |
| Susan Harris Susan is a Special Counsel in the firm's Litigation & Dispute Resolution team and has practised for almost 20 years. Susan is also an accredited and experienced mediator. In her practice Susan has a particular focus on disputes involving the issues of contract and agency, partnership and joint venture, and property and development matters. She also has a specific interest in the areas of health and elder law in the context of commercial disputes and dispute management. |
| Bronwyn Jury Bronwyn Jury is a Special Counsel in our Litigation and Dispute Resolution group. She specialises in commercial litigation and works on behalf of corporate and insurer clients, particularly in complex matters. |
| Emma Martin Emma is a member of the Real Estate group. Emma has been involved in reviewing and drafting documentation for numerous lessors and lessees in large commercial leasing and property transactions. She has also been involved in substantial property due diligence for both buyers and sellers of properties and in corporate mergers and acquisitions. |
| James Minchinton James specialises in Energy and Resources law, with a particular focus on mining and petroleum projects. His areas of expertise include project development, mining law, infrastructure development, upstream oil and gas law and related areas such as native title, cultural heritage, environmental law and safety. |
| Michael Montgomery Michael Montgomery is a Special Counsel in the firm's Corporate Advisory/M&A group where he specialises in technology and intellectual property. His skill set and experience are applied across a variety of industry groups including media and technology; major projects; and climate change. |
| Kathryn Pacey Kathryn Pacey is a Special Counsel with the Environment and Planning team in our Brisbane office. Kathryn specialises in environment and town planning law and has experience in the provision of general environmental advice in the operation of the Federal and Queensland environmental legal regimes. |
| Eleanor Padman Eleanor is a member of the Restructuring & Insolvency group, having been with the firm for more thansix years. She has been involved in a number of high-profile and complex matters, including Garsec, Gate-Gourmet and Ascot. |
| Steven Power Steven is a Special Counsel practising in in commercial law, government procurement and construction law. He has advised Government clients on a number of infrastructure and procurement projects both in Australia and overseas. Steven has advised on projects in relation to Defence, rail, schools, higher education colleges and in relation to the energy and resources sector. He has a wide range of procurement experience with particular emphasis in managing procurement processes for major projects. |
| Catherine Rein Catherine is a member of the Real Estate group within our Property and Construction department. She has extensive experience in all areas of property law. She has acted for a wide variety of clients, including major corporates, property industry participants and government instrumentalities. |
| Richard Shankland Richard has practised for 13 years and is an experienced commercial litigator. Currently he is acting in several Federal Court proceedings - a tax dispute, an administrative law proceeding and an insurance coverage dispute; as well as advising on aspectsof public/private partnerships. |
