Key Points:
Like many organisations, Clayton Utz has a strong commitment to helping to foster and sustain a better community - not just through providing access to legal services to those who would otherwise fall through the cracks, but in working with community organisations and individuals to support their activities.
Over the last financial year we have continued our commitment by:
- Working with over 250 charities, community organisations and pro bono referral partners, and acting for more than 200 individuals;
- Granting nearly $620,000 through 50 Clayton Utz Foundation grants to 44 charities;
- Providing almost 30,000 hours of pro bono assistance to community organisations, charities and individuals who could not otherwise obtain legal advice and representation; and
- Supporting 33 community organisations across Australia through volunteering and participating in fundraising activities.
Last year also marked the 10th anniversary of the launch of our full-time Pro Bono program, a milestone of which we are very proud.
