Carbon Insights

27 November 2007

Welcome to the first edition of Carbon Insights, a newsletter focusing on the risks - and opportunities - arising from climate change, and our responses to it.

Over the weekend Australians voted for a change in their Federal Government. We'll take an in-depth look at what the incoming Government has planned for dealing with climate change.

We'll also examine the reporting obligations under the NGER Act and see how it's a significant step towards the introduction of the future AETS, opportunities from early abatement schemes, and the CSIRO's latest report on the scope and speed of climate change in Australia.
