Profile - Fran Rush

As a partner in our Structured and Property Finance group, Fran Rush has more than 14 years property and finance experience acting for lenders, borrowers and insolvency practitioners. Fran advises a broad range of clients including major banks and financial services institutions and some of Australia's largest corporates in relation to structured property finance and lending related issues.

The primary focus of Fran's practice is asset and structured property transactions, including developing structures for and establishing wholesale property funds for new asset classes, including infrastructure leasing. She has a deep understanding of all aspects of equipment financing including structured leasing and cross border leveraged leasing and is an active member of the Australian Equipment Lessors' Association, which is the peak Australian equipment leasing body for the industry.

Fran's superior technical expertise integrated with her experience, both in-house and in practice, makes her able to appreciate the risks that need to be identified and managed for more traditional classes of assets and in order to develop and sell new products.
