Quentin Solomon is one of Clayton Utz' most experienced banking and finance lawyers, practising in the areas of project and corporate finance, and distressed loan asset restructuring.
Quentin has worked on some of Australia's highest profile transactions, and is well regarded for adopting a facilitative, commercial approach in his dealings.
Of late, he has represented financial institutions on some of Australia's most significant project and corporate workouts/insolvencies, including the Epic Energy West receivership, the Pasminco administration, the restructure of Loy Yang A and the Parmalat restructure.
In addition, he has a strong project finance practice, particularly in the energy and transport areas. He is currently focussing on a range of renewable energy projects, and recently handled the refinancing for one of Australia's largest intermodal freight operators.
His clients include domestic and foreign banks, accounting firms, financial arrangers and transport and energy utility companies.
