Profile - Randal Dennings

Key Points:

Randal is the founder and National Partner responsible for the Clayton Utz National Compliance Division. He is also the Brisbane Team Leader for the Banking and Financial Services practice.

Randal advises on compliance and the establishment of compliance management systems in various areas of law, particularly those focussing on Financial Services Reform and Corporation Act issues.

He's the co-author of the Standards Australia official guide on AS3806 (the Australian Standard on Compliance Programs) and the consulting editor of the looseleaf services "Australian Legal Compliance" and "The Consumer Credit Law Reporter" (both CCH) and is the co-author of the Compliance chapter in the leading CCH text "Essential Guide to Financial Services Reform".

Randal is also a member of the Compliance and Audit Committee and advisory groups for a number of organisations. He is member of the Law Council of Australia's and the Queensland Law Society's committees dealing with financial services. Randal is an Adjunct Professor of the University of Queensland's Schools of Commerce and Law.
