Ray Giblett practices in the areas of financial services, insurance and commercial litigation with a particular focus on product liability. He has completed secondments with ING Australia Limited and Tower Life Australia Limited where he gained valuable insight into large financial service businesses and obtained experience in a variety of general and life insurance matters.
In addition, Ray has been involved in a wide range of insurance advisory, litigation and regulatory matters involving a number of industries. He has advised and represented insurers in the context of insurance mergers and business transfers, product development and distribution issues. Ray has also been involved in a number of class actions and large litigious matters involving insurers with a particular emphasis on product liability.
Ray lectures in insurance law at the University of NSW and has written numerous articles relating to insurance, financial services, industry regulation, product liability, corporate governance, director's duties and professional negligence.
