CU develops specialist courses at UNSW

The Clayton Utz Financial Services Group in conjunction with the University of New South Wales has developed specialist managed investment and superannuation law courses which will take place in April of this year.

The seminars will provide a comprehensive and practical examination of the regulatory and industry framework that control the managed investment schemes and superannuation funds industries.

Partners from our Financial Services Group, John Moutsopoulos, Jane Paskin, Zein El Hassan and Jason Denisenko, will be teaching the courses Review of the Legal Framework for Managed Investment Schemes and Legal Framework of Superannuation Fund Operation as part of the Master of Laws program at the University. These courses will also attract MCLE points for solicitors who wish to attend.

John Moutsopoulos, lead partner of our Financial Services Group, believes that "financial services is a truly challenging and exciting industry, and these courses will be a great platform for people interested in the area".

The Clayton Utz Financial Services Group is a national team focusing on fund governance, financial product manufacture, licensing, disclosure, contracting and distribution issues relating to managed investment, superannuation, insurance and other products and financial advisory, custodial, wrap and other financial services, as well as financial services regulation.

For further information on these courses please contact Lisa Harricks at the University of New South Wales on +61 2 9385 2267.
