Brisbane, 10 July 2008: Students in the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) Law Faculty will be able to enjoy their studies in a new state-of-the-art environment following the unveiling of the refurbished Clayton Utz Law Library.
Clayton Utz has proudly supported the Clayton Utz Law Library for over 20 years and will extend this support for a further five years as the Library's official sponsor.
Officially opened last week by the Federal Attorney-General the Hon. Robert McClelland MP, the refurbished Clayton Utz Law Library now reflects the latest in architectural design and technology for accessing legal information resources.
With plasma screens, group booths and seminar rooms that incorporate technology to support flexible delivery and collaborative study, it is a wonderful space for students, staff and the legal community.
Clayton Utz Brisbane managing partner Michael Klug said he particularly wanted to thank the Dean of the QUT Faculty of Law, The Hon. Professor Michael Lavarch for having given Clayton Utz the opportunity to extend its support for the QUT law school.
"The Clayton Utz Law Library looks fantastic and will continue to play a vital role in the lives of QUT law students," he said.
"We are very proud to be continuing our support for such an important facility."
