Sydney, 25 September 2006: Clayton Utz partner Simon Truskett has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Lex Mundi, the world's leading association of independent law firms.
The appointment of Mr Truskett, a corporate advisory and mergers and acquisitions law specialist based in the Sydney office of Clayton Utz, was officially announced at Lex Mundi's Annual and North America Regional Conference in Chicago earlier this month.
Clayton Utz Chief Executive Partner David Fagan said the appointment reflected the professional regard in which Mr Truskett and Clayton Utz were held.
"This is a very prestigious recognition for Simon and he is to be warmly congratulated," said Mr Fagan. "His appointment also reinforces our commitment to Lex Mundi as an integral part of our international strategy."
Mr Truskett, who is also the National Partner of Clayton Utz's CSR program, Community Connect, said he was honoured to be joining the Lex Mundi Board.
