
Dr Michael Underdown specialises in ports, Admiralty, maritime law, foreign trade and maritime arbitration, with particular emphasis on collisions, ship arrest, salvage, towage, wrecks, navigational aids, pilotage, shipbuilding, ship repair, ship surveys, port security, port management, charterparties, bills of lading, port logistics, marine environmental law and offshore oil and gas issues.
Michael also has experience in marine insurance and fisheries law and strong interests in EC law, public international law, conflicts of law and competition law.
Michael is a member of the firm's German Practice Group, Transport and Logistics Group and the International Arbitration Group.
