Background
Michael joined Clayton Utz in 1987 and is a Partner in the Project Finance, Major Projects and Infrastructure Groups. He is the joint head of the Firm's National Water Practice.
Michael's practice includes domestic and international project and asset finance, corporate finance, tax efficient financing, privatisation, PFI/PPP (Commercial), infrastructure, public and constitutional law, regulation and regulated assets, insolvency and corporate restructuring.
He has published and delivered a number of papers in Australia and internationally on privately funded public infrastructure projects, project corporate finance and related issues. He is a Senior Fellow at the University of Melbourne where he teaches project finance and infrastructure delivery.
